Right now on mine, WaatAfix seems to be working although after a few days without rebooting it will sometimes fail... however on my brother's 10.3.3 WAF will never work, even after rebooting.

BlackBerry never (or rarely) provides a changelog - so one must only assume that newer is better. In 99% of cases, that has proven true.
There are changelogs, actually. However these are for 10.3.3.1359-10.3.3.1463.

I was being facetious, but suffice it to say they are few and far between.

Can someone explain to me why anyone would update their primary BB10 phone to the newest version without any documentation of bug fixes, security patches, or new features?
My reason would be that *maybe* it can not get worse. I have had three times the blank settings issue. :/

Well so far I upgraded to any newer version so I gave it a try again. Unfortunately it seems that Q10SQN100-3/10.3.3.3057 has problems with signal. Will try to rollback via Sachesi.

I have the very same model and have no issues so far. Updated yesterday using Autoloader.

I made the stupid decision of updating to this build OTA. Unsurprisingly, it didn't work out well, and my battery life reduced by about 50%, even after 2 weeks to settle and numerous hard boots.
Have now reinstalled the OS via Autoloader, and everything is sweet

I never found any sense in waiting for settle. Never ever on any Android phone nor blackberry. It may need hour or two, never longer.

Unless you are a Vodafone customer in parts of Europe, you won't see this update OTA. You will have to do it yourself.

Not too sure how it happened, but while setting my wife's new Leap last night I was asked to do the usual update check. I downloaded and installed the update which took it to 2205, but once that had finished installing and rebooting I was prompted to update again to 3057:

    Why Update Blindly to 10.3.3.3057?-img_20171111_095605.png

As Link hasn't worked for me for months, it wasn't active, neither was Sachesi. This was a pure OTA update.

I should add we're in Canada on Freedom Mobile which hasn't supported BB10 updates for about a year now. Phone was purchased factory unlocked.

    *EDIT*

Just for clarification, I was told that this update was not being pushed out at all, either to factory unlocked or carrier sold devices so I was surprised to see it. As I haven't had time to scroll through this or other threads on the subject, I could be mistaken.

The reason the update went live in the first place was that Vodafone started pushing it OTA to the UK (and NL, and Greece, and ?). It fixes a longstanding 4G bug they had.

I'm with Freedom Mobile in Canada, and there's no possibility the update came from them as they haven't pushed updates for BB10 for at least a year to 18 months, probably 2 years now I think of it. I bought the device factory unlocked from BB Canada's Amazon site about a week ago.

Well, there you go. BlackBerry must be pushing this to factory-unlocked devices now.

Sorry for asking. This Bug already existed in 10.3.2?

I haven't had any problems on 10.3.2.2876. Haven't updated to 10.3.3 till this .3057 was released, though.

After spending some time on this issue I found out the problem lied in the fact there was a whopping 9GB of media files that were taking WaatAfix and WhatsFixer a long time to move before applying the fix. There is nothing mysterious about those two apps, they just do the move and create a symlink. Wonder why they are built to keep running in the background.

You can uninstall WhatsFixer after its created the symlink.
