    I have a Blackberry Classic

    Some friends are sending me texts but it is not showing up. The only way for me to read it if I try to send them a text.

    It just started about a week or 2 ago. They are using other devices.

    Does resetting the hub work? (swipe from the top right corner to the center 5 times)

    Eventually, you could use an backup app such as backup pro and try deleting and restoring the text messages. (check if everything was saved before deleting)

    I tried resetting the hub but it did not work. This is so frustrating....

    Is it possible you have applied a filter to your text messages? In the hub, you are able to apply filters and control what is being shown, such as using the pinch feature to hide/show certain messages.

    I haven't filtered anything but it could be the case. If things are filtered then I must have done it by accident.

    Tommy, why not try reloading or updating your OS and see if that doesn't sort the issue. Not sure why it's happening, but a fresh OS install just might fix it.

    Ok thank you I will try that and see if it works when I have some time later tonight. Can I do that just from my phone or do I need to hook it up to my computer?

    You'll need to hook it up to your computer. First backup your data, then download from here the latest 10.3.1 OS (or your SR 10.3.1.747 if you prefer) autoloader. Make sure it's for the Classic. Unpack the downloaded autoloader and run it. It will do the rest by itself.
