why are my group texts going out as broadcast messages?

I have a group text I started last year with 21 recipients. Last week I tried to send a message in the group chat and received 21 private messages answering me back. The group can no longer see other people's responses. I had another person restart the group text and it was fine until I sent a text. Then the whole chat went to broadcast. I'm on a classic. Please help bc it's driving me nuts!!!

That happens to me if I respond to a group message with Blend, but never on my phone. Using a Passport.

With blend??? I don't blend. Could I have turned it on accidentally?

Yes. That is the only time my group messages become broadcast messages.
