My q10 browser has now home as wattpad.com/signup, even though in settings it the home is set to google.com. When i type google.com, it loads a little and then still in wattpad.com. Could it be virus? Can the blackberry be wiped same as a pc? Shreded? Or could the problem be something else?

What apps did you install recently? Delete them and reset the browser settings again.
I'm guessing the host file was hijacked but not sure if this is accessible for manual editing.
You can wipe the phone by typing the wrong password 10 times but you will loose everything including contacts and pictures.
Doubt it's a virus.
