Just download the latest leak last night 10.2.1725 and noticed a few changes with jelly bean:

The good:

Everything is more smooth.
Scrolling is smoother.
Let's me record instagram video but not sure about uploading just yet.

The bad:

If I disbale and press hide the bar then It hides the comment box when I select it when the keyboard comes up.

The keyboard now has more wrong keys then it did before, I can't even type a normal word without getting a total different result.

Anybody noticed this? Is there any solution to this other then installing the Google keyboard that might potentially be a battery hog?

Google keyboard that I have installed works great. For instagram install a token or unlocked runtime. To upload video, install the app Keek, use the video camera within the app. When you choose upload video option in instagram use gallery and look for the Keek folder with your video in it.

I take no credit for any of this. This was figured out by other members on these forums.

You can load any android keyboard you like, there are plenty to chose from.

I think you'll find complaining to other fans proooobably isn't gonna do much.

FYI Google keyboard does NOT seem to work with the latest leak... always says "Google keyboard has stopped working" even after reboot

I don't have that issue with the Google keyboard. You way want to try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

You NEED to side load the Google keyboard via the debug method with the latest leak, otherwise you will encounter the error that you did.

Or if you don't care about the android bar, side load the unlocked runtime on top of this new leak and the Google keyboard will work. Keep in mind you will also need ghost commander or something similar to check / toggle the keyboard on. When you do also leave the BlackBerry keyboard checked. It works great for me.

That is good to know. Have you tested it out yourself? I think even when the official 10.2 drops, I'm gonna sideload the unlocked runtime and have my android apps work without a token.The bottom bar doesn't bother me as much as I'm using a Z10

I am using the unlocked runtime. instagram can get laggy and force close but it's still pretty good. Voxer is working, snap chat, Google Earth, and I just noticed my Google maps is integrated with Google Earth. I can't explain it. But the berry leaks team has pretty much destroyed every hurdle we have all had with this phone.

I'm also using shazam and simplemp3downloader.

FWIW I've not had a single FC with Instagram on the runtime that comes with .1725

The force close happens when I'm in and out of instagram uploading video. If I'm patient and leave it alone it's usually fine. Or if I have a few side loads going at the same time.

Either way it's not a complaint at all. I picked up my iPhone 5 and just couldn't keep it out. Good phone but not near as much fun.

I also need my phone for pdf's and excel documents from work. The iPhone just can't keep up.
