This OS is the most well-developed and intricate that BB has come up with ever. It is the wave of the future. Get used to choices, multiple ways to do things and start developing dexterity in your finger tips whereby you won't be pressing the wrong things. Give it a chance!
That sounds like Marketing BS. You have in a single stroke made the Q10's and Classics substantially less productive - wave of the future my ar**. You guys might at least have left a settings option to allow us to keep the old Hub interface.

Unfortunately on my Q10 with this release (10.3.1) Email action 2 does not have a "none" option - only Flag, File, Delete

Oh and one more thing - Why oh why do we need a massive chunk of screen real estate wasted to tell us that we are in Blackberry Hub ...... and in massive type and in Bold Capitals ......

And I just found that true on my Z30. Well at least it won't be two buttons wide so less chance of error.

I also dont have the second delete option, made it 'flag' to avoid potential disaster. I cant change my lockscreen wallpaper in the Q5 is that normal? And I can only set my wallpaper thru the pictures file, no option in settings, same thing had happened to my Z30, after the option was there then it wasnt.

Which is fine, no big deals here, but what a strange choice for a lockscreen pic to be locked into... Maybe a temporary bug.

My first impressions. Why are we always losing functionality and adding fluff instead of improving?
What functionality did we lose in 10.3.1 that was present in 10.2.1???

Witless dribble, how many threads about this very annoying issue based mostly on user preferences which is subjective in all sense across all users anyway still getting hella play on here lol, only one valid point was made about the calender even that has been immensely repeated with the same guys posting in all those threads (I am one of them tbh)

Not everyone can let Flash go where it belongs.

10.3.1 is great so far. Lots of nice changes in the look of the OS, excited to take blend for a spin, android apps that didn't work before now work great. Camera app is great once you get used to it. Over all I find it a lot smoother and faster, and as the update settles in it gets better and better.

Key thing to do before crying, is research. Also give it time. I remember when Facebook would get some sort of major update, everyone would cry and complain, and then after 2 weeks of using it, would have no idea what the old version they loved so much looked like.

Too many people complain about an OS when they haven't done the research ie blank home screen complainers. Look around and use it. Try the different settings.

Best update experience as a smartphone user so far this is compared to:

Updating iPhone 4S to iOS 6.0 -made the phone incredibly slow, almost unusable. So I sold it and got a nexus 5.

Updating nexus 5 to 5.0 lollipop - buggy notifications, increased battery drain, noted increase in app crashes and slower loading even compared to same apps on my z30.

So haters, give it time, give it some research. You may get used to some aesthetic changes, learn about the new features and who knows maybe even find out you like it better than 10.2. In the very least after a few weeks of actually using it, you won't look like a crybaby, and may actually provide some constructive feedback for future revisions.

I hate 10.3.1 because it gives the ever complaining haters a new reason to nag about. And blame al their self inflicted, lack-of-patience user faults on an otherwise perfectly working system, made by a perhaps commercially challenged, but technological progressive and successful company.
I have a Z10 and had a leaked 10.3.1 for a while before upgrading to the official OS.
Yes, it took some time to find the right way to all the known features (as with the step from legacy to 10). But errors, bugs, instable? No way...!!

Why can't they make it so the music app can flip so that if you want the 3.5 jack at the bottom then you can just flip your phone upside down? Not really a 10.3.1 issue but it is something I had wished they would have added.

Yes, blackberrry is good because other os manufacturers make mistakes.

This is reflected by the fact that blackberry have the lion share of the market.

I Love it On my Z10, the calendar I believe needs improvement but I Love the rest. All the white on the screen is to conserve battery life btw on a Z30 it will be black because that saves the battery on that device , the Z30 will be updated when I get home and I know it's going to be great!!

I don't hate it at all but my favourite android apps still run poorly: Spotify, Audible and all NFL apps.

Guess I will have to wait for the next update to have a smoother android runtime.
