Hi,

I wonder why my Passport still have not receive 10.3.2 update? Thought it was already available quite sometime ago. My passport is unlocked, currently running on 10.3.1.1779. Many thanks.
What country are you in, or rather, what country is your phone's carrier in? According to the forums, the only devices that have received 10.3.2 are linked to N American carriers.

I'm also waiting for the 10.3.2 update, here in Blighty.....

Many countries besides Canada and USofA are still waiting. Most (all?) european countries for example have yet to receive their update. Pretty sad considering they "launched" 10.3.2 almost three months ago IIRC.

in hindsight, it looks like a restricted release. The global release is expected to roll out very soon.

The original CrackBerry post dated June 2, said that the official OS 10.3.2 was being rolled out to all devices "within the next few weeks". That was supposed to be an official announcement from BlackBerry
Well, it's now September and most areas outside the US/Canada are still waiting. Certainly there has been nothing in Europe that I have seen.
Mine is a Classic unlocked from ShopBlackBerry and I'm in the UK, my service provider is O2.
There must be a technical reason why non-US/Canada providers have not rolled out 10.3.2. Can anyone shed any light on the reasons for the delays outside of the North America?
Thanks.

Maybe they're holding on the 10.3.2 update for us non-North American Passport owners (I'm in NL) because they're going to use us as Guinea Pigs for the first Android release.... it's certainly getting a bit frustrating...

Just an FYI. I got the update in the US some time ago. At which point my phone started heating up enough that I was wondering if I could cook on it. I rolled back to a previous universal version of 10.3 .2. That somewhat fixed the issue. Bu, if I'm not alone in having issues, perhaps Madhuchandran is right that there's an upcoming global release. But maybe a newer version with the problems fixed..

That's normal for all blackberry updates, nothing to worry about imo. It's not an issue rather a state all blackberries go through n the first 1-2 weeks of any update

I'm in the US on AT&T and still don't have the update. My phone was bought unlocked on Amazon but through a 3rd party vendor. My phone came with a Euro style charger so my phone must be marked as an EU phone & may be the reason why there is no update for me yet.

Have you tried BB link? Also you can use Sachesi and load the AT&T update.

If you're right, then Blackberry is doing something very, very wrong. The power and volume buttons shouldn't be uncomfortable to use because of the amount of heat they absorb.

I wonder if there's some difference between North American and non-North American models, e.g. 4G frequencies used or something, which means only the North American devices have got an upgrade so far?

I'm pretty sure that the early USA release was due to regulatory concerns regarding cell phone kill switches, but I'm not sure why the rest of the world were dragging their feet.

Although, having the general release (probably 2639) being free of some double typing (like 2339) or broken light sensors (like 2252) is nice.

What does this mean?

I have:

PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.2576 (OS)
But under info it says 10.3.1.1779 (SW)

So where do I get the OS, which will bring me the SW?

Link always says 'all up to date'

Now I got it these two mean the lower one is referring to the OS which was on your device when you bought it and the higher one is the actual one..being new to BlackBerry from this had confused me

Now I again called my carrier to push on the update otherwise I will have to go into all the autolowgind tool you guys provide here, which of course is very apprecited but for me also not so easy to grasp...

I've said all along that the majority of carriers are in the pockets of Apple, Samsung and Sony. The delay and BB being scapegoated confirms my suspicions that the majority of carriers are violating antitrust legislation within the EU by not releasing the 10.3.2 update to their customers.

I've called them out on this in other threads and they've not denied it! It would be interesting to see the EU would look into it, however they don't seem to have teeth in these matters!

I updated my Z10 in the manner described in other threads as 1.1779 had become too sluggish for my liking.

It seems my pushing at Salt Switzerland has produced an effect - just loading the update onto my PP 10.3.2.2474

should I also load this down onto my Q10 - ???
