I'm getting it daily, funny, only on my BlackBerry devices and not any other device connected to same Wifi network.

It's still an ongoing issue with both my bb10 devices. Z10 and Q5. Nothing else in my house has wifi issues.

God! This has to stop! Really getting on my nerves. Everything else, besides my Z30, works perfectly with my home WiFi.

BlackBerry, please, do something at last!

Yep, this is a well-documented problem. Not sure if anyone was able to offer any fix suggestions, though.

I still get the 'limited wifi' warning sometimes, and it doesn't seem to matter which OS leak I use. It is irritating.

    Very weird indeed.

    Same issue here.

As soon as I deactivate the gsm data, wifi is connected and I get data. And as soon as I reactivate data, then wifi drops.........

This has been the only workaround for the time being, turn off mobile data to keep wifi connected.

I am constantly having this issue with my Q10 up to a point that I am about to abandon it in favor of my Z30 which has never failed even a single time. I am also suffering the "double typing" with the Q10. I am slowly improving with my typing in the Z30.

I also forgot to mention that I'm at 99% of my data use. It's the first time I've been this close ever and I've got 6 days left for this month. It kinda sucks.

Well that is weird. There were two threads, I was glad the one that tried to dismiss this issue had been closed. That was just a weird thread started by persons that obviously did not (want to) understand there was an BB-specific issue.
But the other thread was pretty thorough and showed progress people had made into getting this issue noticed and worked on. Not sure why that one was closed as well, there was no moderator notice for that one.

I've gotten it for the past 2 months, every few days... sometimes a few times a day, only ever on my Q5 nothing else.

Me too on my Q5. Sometimes it shows limited connection, but everything still working so I ignore it and somehow it's gone. But there is a time when it shows limited and no connection at all. I thought it was my router problem so I change the channel frequently. What is this problem?

I restart my phone anytime I have the "Limited Wi-Fi" issues and that temporarily takes care of the problem.

That's good but temporary isn't good enough.

I got the error a couple of times this morning, about 5:30-6:30 eastern time.

My guess is a connection problem to the BlackBerry servers causes this. The difference may be that the carrier's have a direct connection to the BlackBerry infrastructure and this problem may be limited to ISP or routing issues.

I also wonder if it is related to BBM now being available on Apple and Android phones and perhaps a software problem or deliberate action initiated on these phones causes a problem with the system.

I get the limited Wifi thing too. I thought first it was only when I was in the bedroom (furthest spot from our wifi router) but I've noticed it can also happen even when I'm extremely close and usually the icon indicates I've got full wifi! So that was odd. This has only been happening in the last few months of 2014 - I never experienced it in 2013.

Why does everything need to involve a workaround as the answer? It's BlackBerry's responsibility to fix this ongoing problem instead of us having to be inconvenienced. Again, just another lack of accountability on the part of BlackBerry just like the many forum posters that badmouth carriers for not selling BlackBerry devices or their employees for recommending other brands.

This limited wifi issue has been around for far too long with absolutely no response from BlackBerry at all. This seems to sum everything that's going wrong with BlackBerry in a nutshell. Perhaps Kevin and company can bring this up in Waterloo.
