When viewing an email, in the upper left hand corner, there is a place for the other person's contact picture to show. It doesn't. Just a blank avatar. These contacts are all loaded in my Contacts, with pictures, and the email address I'm using for them associated with that contact.

Why isn't the email management "app" showing these contact pictures in the upper left? Is there a setting somewhere?

    Thanks.

I'll add that, if I long press in that email and click View Contact, it goes to that contact with the picture. So obviously my BlackBerry knows I'm communicating with that person. Why isn't it putting their contact picture in the upper left?

Must be a setting. This works in text messaging.

Haa hahaha.. I think that's why you did not attach your photo in crackberry account . We attach picture because It will very easy to detect who is sender of this mail. You don't have to read the sender's mail address. And your user interface looks wonderful. This feature is not present in BlackBerry that is true. Don't give lame excuses.. "BlackBerry knows I'm communicating with that person" why BlackBerry why not other phone?

I rearead your post and think I understand.

It looks like this feature is supposed to be present in BlackBerry 10. There is an empty avatar space in the upper left corner of every email, but none of them contain the image of the sender.

Did BlackBerry just forget to add this feature? Do I have some setting turned off? Does anyone have these show for emails? It works for texts.

Looked into it more. They do show when it's and email I've received. They do not show for emails I've sent.

    Anyone else notice same?

In 10.3.1 OS I used to have the contact's picture in my e-mail. The picture of a contact may came from their FB, LinkedIn, BBM, or Exchange/BES.

In 10.3.2 OS I don't have it anymore

Mine too. But I think that's because you can send to multiple people at one email, what picture should be use at that scenario.

Unlike when you receive an email, we're sure that there's only one sender and deciding on what picture to use is easy.

Yup, can't argue with that. simple line of code to test if the recipient is only one. Maybe they are just lazy haha.
