Agreed. When you're sleeping just taping anywhere on the screen is a lot easier than fumbling around for the volume keys or hitting the tiny mute button on the screen. Why do BB insist on removing good features? It seems BlackBerry are two steps forward one step back.

    More steps backwards..
If your dialed number had waits/extensions ( *123w2w1w1 for example) you can't use the dial pad or hang up a call without skipping the waits first.. dial pad is grayed out and end button is hidden
Not sure about the end call button, IIRC you cold use the dialpad without being required to skip the waits first. Crazigee, mind checking on 10.2.1?

You can use the dial pad. It's not grayed out on mine. To end call before you are done with the waits just tap Skip and the end call button shows up.

So end call was always hidden until you skip the waits? (don't like that. The end call button should be available at all times while on the phone.. this IS a phone, isn't it?)

And your dialpad on 10.2.1 isn't grayed out when you have pending waits? (that's the way it should be. I can't imagine why they would change that. Again, the dialpad should be available at all times while on the phone.. this IS a phone, isn't it?)

    Just checked on 10.2.1:

With a pause you can hit end at anytime.

With a wait you have to first hit skip and then the end appears.

Seems a little silly that you can't end right away when you have a wait.

Ok. So those folks running official 10.3 or leaked 10.3.1 can you confirm whether call log has been improved and makes more than 30 days of history available to view?
    Thanks in advance.

Mine goes back to October 2, which is more than 30 days. I'm not sure what the significance of that day is, though. It could be my last OS update without a successful restore, but I'm not sure.

Edit: That's a Passport on leaked 10.3.1.1151, by the way.

Yet again they leave out such a simple but so important feature, they have already left out block a phone number feature... BlackBerry you seriously need to get with the times...

You can't check a phone numbers history/call dates/durations/times on BlackBerry 10 but you could on BlackBerry 7... you have to add the # as a contact to be able to do this so stupid

Um Harry...you missed it buddy...function IS there...
"Longpress and view details"... gee who is stupid now...

I checked both the Calls section of the Hub, and the Calls section in the phone app just to be sure: October 23 is the oldest date.

So it does appear that call history is limited to 30 days in 10.3.0.1418.

Would be nice if this were a user selectable limit.

    Weird.

I just checked again, the date has moved up to Oct. 24th, today. My phone is definitely only keeping 30 days of call history.
