    I downloaded the latest OS earlier. The update size was 1.1GB, probably because it was i think few mos ago when I last updated my OS. It required me to free up 1.5 gb and I did. Transferred almost 2.5 gb to my memory card. So the OS download pushed thru. It took almost 6 hrs to (step 1) download and (step 2) install. My phone was charging the whole time btw. When I checked my phone it was already 99% of step 2 (installation). So I just waited and watch TV. After 15mins, when I checked it again, I was back on step 1! The OS size is now 1.6 gb and it's asking to free up 1.1 gb of phone memory? What just happened?! I waited 6 long hours and now I'm back to step 1? Can anyone please help me? I am very frustrated and disappointed now.

    I was having the same problem with the radio update. You are best to use link and update software. It fixed the update loop for me

    Did you mean blackberry link? And if I don't have a pc, what choice do I have? TIA
