So, there I am showing my 7 year old how to do some basic calculator stuff, as you do, when I noticed 2 extra options.

A tip calculator and measurements converter. Additional useful stuff just built in that I discover months after getting this thing

    A happy find.

Haha two days ago I was with a friend and he was showing me IOS7 around and all. Nice upgrade in terms of features but personally I can't stand all the colors. Anyways he was all oh see an app can do this and that.

So I took out my calculator on my Z10, and told him yeah but at least you don't need an app to do that!! hahaha

He looked at me like meh -_-

Was really funny I really love that feature specially the unit converter

I have a colleague who bashed her new Z10 because she taught that her phone didn't have a regular calculator. It was in Tip mode.

Don't feel too bad, I found out yesterday that you can snap a photo with the volume rocker.

Yup, and the Clock has Timer and Stopwatch functions. I have seen posts by a few people looking for apps that do these things, without realizing that the features are built in.

Yea it's amazing when you find all the little things built right in. I found out only recently I could use the space bar to take a photo on the Q10. So the Q10 has 3 options to take a photo. Sweet. The best is how many people love screen capture apps on BlackBerry World. I'm betting many people don't know you could just press the two volume buttons but oh well when they find out I hope they don't get too angry that they paid for an app.

Wow. I was busy yesterday and wanted to post about the scientific functions. There I was doing simple calcs, and, hey, waiT, I see the little 'there are more screens ' dots.

Wow. Scientific functions. How did miss that before?

Wow. So many features, built in . So little time to find them.

Well I noticed that day 1 3 months ago but don't feel to bad I just found out today tapping power 3 times puts audio reader mode on! 10.2 only.

Btw diagonal swipe from top right corner to middle of phone refreshes hub. On hub screen.

Yes, I just noticed the conversions for the first time on my Bold yesterday. I was wondering to myself whether they were always there or recently pushed as part of some update or service book, lol.

I remember when the scientific calculator was landscape-only, but BBRY fixed that with 10.1.

I do miss the paper roll of past calculations, though.

You can still get the past calculations. They are just not on paper anymore.
