That's funny because I had that tapping sound off before I updated to 10.3

I'm looking for the option to turn that off..can't find it. Grrr

This will be a great test to see if I lose the slight lag when answering phone.

In OS 10.3.2, you can disable the dial pad sound in normal profile, just make it off sound (turn off the sound), but in customize app, you make the sound on, tick override volume and increase the volume for every apps you would like to give a sound.

I think when we answer (swipe left) incoming calls, there will little delay, but with turn of the sound of dial pad tap number, it fix lag (too late appear the number after finished receive incoming calls or ended calls by go to the dial pad and tap the number). Previously, if the sound dial pad on, when I tap number 123 for example, it will think first (delay, too late appear) for a while before appear 123. With sound dial pad off, the delay or too late appear is gone.

It is 2 days now, since I restart my Z10 after I make dial pad tap number sound is off, the delay (screen dims for maybe around 2 seconds or more) before appear "please wait" and delay when I swipe left to answer incoming calls seems is fixed now. I will keep watching if this will keep fix or not.

Hmm... I wish I could do that. But What about all my contacts my data, Pics, Videos and all that other stuff. And if you backup and restore after the wipe it will be of no use. The lag will come back. So I can't start again. I'll live with the stupid laggy dialer. I wish there was an option to go back to my fav OS 10.2.1.3062

Do a blitz install using Sachesi with the newest 10.3.2 OS should take care of things. It is non destructive thus you do not lose pics, etc.

The dialed lag is an easy fix. There is a post on another thread explaining the fix.
You don't need to turn of sound or anything crazy.
It actually is an issue with your language settings.

    Go to settings/language and input

Turn off language detection and viola! Lag is gone. You can change your language manually with a shortcut.
I saw this in anther thread and gave it a shot. It works.

I always turn off language detection previously before I turn off sound of dial pad. That didn't work to remove the call lag in my Z10.

Is it possible that the Z10 is just outdated and the lag you feel is twice as bad as a Z30? I own and use both.

Have you try my solution, switch off the dial pad tone and so restart device after dial pad tone off?

Sachesi tutorial available if you search in Google.

    It is very easy.
    1. Download Sachesi (at least 2.0 version), unzip
    2. Go to the leaks section to find a blitz file newer than the one on your phone.
    3. Download the blitz file to your computer.
    4. Plug in your phone to computer via USB.
    5. Open Sachesi and make sure it connects to your phone.
    6. Open the sachesi tab labeled "install".
    7. Find the downloaded zipped blitz file and drag and drop it into the install section of Sachesi.
    8. Sachesi will do the rest. It will unzip and install the OS and needed applications, and automatically reboot your phone. You then should be good to go.

By the way, near the install tab on Sachesi there is a box to make sure is checked to "install only newer files" or something like that.

It's really easy to do. PM me is you have questions.
