Maybe I'm posting a little late, but I have a Classic with the OS version 10.3.1.2575 and release 10.3.1.1779, and I can say that Contacts are shared perfectly fine. Perhaps you should do a backup in Link, then do a Reload of your OS

Good to know. However, according to the knowledgebase article (link below), this is an unresolved issue. And they say this issue is caused by contacts that are associated with a Link account. My Z30 is on 10.3.1.2558, up to date.

Blackberry is in fact pushing new update through carriers. Officially the last update is 10.3.1.2576. Nonetheless is been leaked in several forums the coming update 10.3.1.2582.

If you try to get an update but still your phone doesn't get it, perhaps you should try a different procedures in order to be able to upgrade.

I'm ok to wait for the official release. It's a problem and I'm glad to hear from you that it's fixed in the next OS version. But it's not enough of a problem to spend time running the upgrade using the other methods.

I'm with Bell in Canada and they roll out the updates fairly promptly on my experience.

I'm in Europe and currently running the OS 10.3.1.2576 that I got this week. For sure in Canada should be already available. I've read that sometimes you should do certain procedures in order the device could get a real "refresh" searching for updates. Consult with your carrier for further instructions.

I've read that it's fixed in 10.3.2, unfortunately we'll have to wait until then for a solution.

Just loaded 10.3.1.2744 on my Z10 STL-3 and contact sharing works. All contacts except those just in Facebook and Linked In

My blackberry classic is also not allowing me to share contacts. I have both the email and phone numbers in my contact files. It started refusing to let me share contacts a few months ago. Very frustrating. My phone also has been auto-deleting my email and cell phone caches about once a week. Blackberry has been unable to resolve. HELP!!

Having the same issue but when you go to share the contact if you edit then save it then allows the share, obviously if you want to share many then its an issue, i find the constant duplication more of a pain.

I had to upgrade to SR 10.3.2.2226 OS 10.3.2.2339 for the contact sharing to work again. So happy it is working
