I find it to be a differential point of BlackBerry 10 and a better point to. In 10.3 it is changed to be like others, which is bad in my opinion.

Definately prefer the 10.3. Touch screen to focus, camera icon to take the picture. More consistent results and less accidental shots

Touch anywhere all the way and I could have sworn that the preview Michael Clewely posted showed you can touch anywhere and the "dedicated button " will be for video. Could be wrong tho

Ahhhhhhhh. Another dumbing down of the OS by BlackBerry. Lol. First the call answer screen now, if the leaked 10.3 is true, a dedicated button for pics. Great moves being made!

There was one leak with "touch everywhere" for taking pictures and a button for video recording. I think that's the best way. Switching from photo to video is not efficient enough for a BlackBerry in the way it is done now

I use the spacebar. For the onscreen controls, I would prefer tap to focus, hold to lock, button to capture.

With 10.3 you focus quicker as not to lose the shot, you have the instant choice to take a pic or start a video, use the volume buttons on top to snap a picture just like you would a regular camera. Much improved. Less unintentionally taken shots. Less extra flashes at night and having to delete mistakes. It's 10.3.for me. No brainer.

I thought it was annoying that I would take a picture every time I barely touched the screen, but...i miss it. Missed a few photo ops because I touched the "wrong" part.
