This is being discussed in the classic forums too but I'm moving it here because it's likely OS related. For some reason a bunch of us can't find extended search options like google and yahoo in our BlackBerry assistant settings. They simply don't appear and don't exist as options. All of the effected so far (including myself) are on the verizon classic. Not sure if it's really carrier related or a coincidence. Anyone out there know what's wrong?

Here are screens of us not having the right search options.

They don't even show up in the menu

    Others have this.

How many of you appear to be affected? What OS Version are you guys on? Can you post a link to the other thread? It's definitely not an issue on my Z30 running 10.3.1.2576.

Go to the second to last page of the thread. Basically none of the verizon folks that posted have those search options

Any idea if this is a Verizon + Classic specific issue? Are there any non-Classic Verizon users out there who can try this functionality?

Did you try go to browser, type in something, then in the search provider box, check if there's Bing, Google or Yahoo logo?

That should bring back the search options in extended search options

They are there. But I don't see how selecting one brings back any search options in BlackBerry assistant.
