Mine doesn't read any of my music files and the blue tooth only reaches about 2 feet. Both just since 10.2 update today.

Maybe on yours, but not mine. No leaks official to official. On a side note, taking a screen shot no longer makes the camera noise.

Personally one of things I'd like to see improved is in the settings. It's so darn easy to turn options on or off without meaning to. I have to be extremely careful when I'm in there not to do that.

Another thing that happens (for me at least) is when I take my phone out of its holster for some reason the camera activates now and then. That's pretty annoying. I looked but couldn't find a screen sensitivity setting.

Same with me - Official 10.2 update, Google, Bing etc have gone as an extended search option. Doesn't seem to be a way to add them either, I used this a lot and am already missing it.

i only see these options in search - extended
Help, LinkedIn, BlackBerry World, Maps, Foursquare, Password Keeper, Twitter...
that's it. no other options to tick/untick.

for me, its the "notify during call" option that was still not included. Headless apps is another issue, sub menu consistency i.e,open dialer and call log, long press a call and the menu is limited. open the hub and long press a call and the menu is extensive which is strange as it should be uniform and also have the ability to email as well. the notification sounds seems to be low as compared to before even on full volume. i have not noticed much battery life improvement on my z10 as it was claimed to have on 10.2. other that that i am happy with it and hope these minor things are updated soon.

Let's make a list of where the new features in 10.2 fell short.

1) Lock screen notifications - I can long-press the camera on the lock screen, why not the notifications?
2) Customizable settings drop-down menu. We saw previews for a better menu, but it's nowhere to be seen
3) Priority hub - Flagged emails, even really old ones, all show as priority. Priority marking needs an option to remove priority mark on read messages.
4) Priority hub - No separate notification for messages marked as priority. There should be a separate notification setting (LED, sound, etc...) for messages marked as priority. This way you're actually alerted to priority and high importance messages.


Keep it going...

I was kind of hoping 10.2 would come with a free Z30!!
That's my beef with 10.2 ... oh well ... maybe next time.

Two things I was hoping would be in 10.2.

1.) Ability to create groups for sms's, yes you can add multiple people and it asks if its a group message etc. Im talking Contacts, New Group, send message to group of x amount of people. Like the legacy devices.
2.) If I add a persons birthday to their contact information it must remind me that it is so and so's birthday tomorrow.

Otherwise happy with the extra bits.

Strange. Same offical OS version here, and I do have all the Googles & Bings showing. I don't have the message "Only selected providers will be available" though.

You should be happy that you have a device that works, but if it really burns you up that 10.2 doesn't have all the bells and whistles YOU want then switch smartphones!

I have to update this. It turns out it was the headphones I was using. Weird they work on everything else but the minute these headphones plug into the Z it get file format errors in music. Anyway this ones not on BlackBerry.

I don't think it fell short at all. Pretty good update. Besides, the features have been well known for quite some time . It would be/have been more productive to go to blackberry.ca and leave suggestions there. These threads are more likely than not to get filled with individuals device issues such as the bluetooth post above, rather than actual OS design points. I agree, more customization for flagging would be nice. I would also like to see a better multi-select feature, some sort of drag to select multiple emails/files.

And extended search seems to be different for people....
