Yeah what I've read is a case where someone started the upgrade, interrupted it to force a BB10-0xx error (15 or else, I don't remember) That's what I meant by pseudo-bricking. From that state they restored it to factory settings with the help of the autoloader. Seems overkill?

So what is the effective difference between that and the normal autoloader procedure?

Frankly I have no idea; that's why I think it seems overkill.

I can pretty much assure you that wiping your phone to factory settings should fix the issues. OTA updates are always buggy with BB10. Autoloaders and fresh wipes are the way to go.
I dispute that. I've got a stack of 5 BB10 phones or so and all have always gone OTA with zero problems.
OTA upgrades are the only official method from BlackBerry. Everything else is a "hack" and can't consider to be supported.
(Yes, I have tried autoloader, no I've never had a problem with them either).

Yeah well people's experiences differ. 10.3.3 via OTA has caused many bugs for many people that are solved by a clean install.

An OS reload with Link is not a hack, and accomplishes the same thing as an autoloader.

Dude it was a joke, everybody who is on crackberry knows that there will be no updates for bb10 except maybe security or bug fixes.

Great, now you've made a diehard go cry in a corner somewhere and then somewhere else there's a less diehard person with a sliver of hope about 10.3.4.... hope you're happy with yourself and what you've done....LOL

The big delay is due to the extra time it is taking for one of their engineers to learn Lithuanian. I believe this is due to issues getting a Rosetta Stone Lithuanian course.
