Still using Z30STA100-5/10.2.1.3442 but wondering if anyone knew of an official roll out for 10.3?

Leaks are all over the place but my device is an extension of my office and I cannot afford to have anything go wrong with my device as it is really my office away from home.

With leaks floating around for over a month one would think an official roll out would have happened by now.

That sucks. Any reason that you might be aware of as to why?

I would seriously consider a leak if I had clear instructions of how to do it and confirmation of stability

They are testing the new OS. They don't want you to suffer from leaks. They want to ensure your office isn't disrupted. So they are requesting for more time until next year.

Either by the release of the Classic or within a month of it.. Could be more, no solid information yet on that matter

We will see an official 10.3.1 OS with the BlackBerry Classic (release date on the 17th)

10.3.1 for other devices should follow shortly after that date (depending on your carrier...If u have a US carrier, probably somewhere around 2020 :P)

All that's confirmed is the rest of us get it after the classic is released. Last reliable source I remember was aiming toward end of January. But no official time line has been said that I've seen.. just after classic

I'm just guessing that we will hear in January after the initial buzz of classic dies down, keeps their name in the media for a few more months until they show their prototype in march

10.3.1 will officially launch with the classic. (was it 8 or 9 December?)
After that carriers will usually take 4 to 6 weeks to the test the new OS and certify it for release for the other BB10 devices on their network.
So we probably won't see it before mid to end of January on the Z3-Z10-Z30-Q5-Q10.

It's worth the wait. I've been waiting ever since the first previews

To me this is asinine. By very definition of the Tool belt having specific code it means there will be more for that device alone. We should have a release before this garbage is released. VmNOT cool BlackBerry for making those that kept you going by purchasing your hardware existing wait for an OS update after a third hardware is released. It's not just the OS we're missing out on, it's BlackBerry Assistant and Blend!

I'd like to point out that any carrier approved os will be the same as the version that is already available as a leak currently. Of course it will also be older than any leaks we have available at this time.

I do agree I don't think it's fair for us that gave bb10 it's first chance. I am pumped for Blend. I really wish they did updates like apple on their servers not carrier. And I wish they launched it the same time for everybody instead of this fragmented issue going on.

I too am getting impatient as I have a Mac so can't load any the leaks

Lol to the above post. But on a serious note, I'm not sure I understand the aggravation and appalled attitudes some Blackberry users are expressing... it's not as if BlackBerry is denying current or pre-Classic bb10 users access to 10.3.X. We are going to get it. It's only a matter of time and it's not a life or death situation.. There are practical benefits to waiting for the kinks to be ironed out or what not, & letting the thrill and excitement of The Classic's release catch fire and subdue the HUGE anticipation of this long-awaited device. The release is more about the device than the updated version of the OS, that's what the survival of the company most heavily depends on after all.

BlackBerry Classic launch set for December 17th in NYC, Frankfurt and Singapore = confirmed.

The fact that it will be running OS 10.3.1 = confirmed

When the rest of the BB10 devices will get 10.3.1 = not confirmed (all we know is after the release of the classic)

I have to disagree with you here. We see them continuing to develop well past the 10.3.1.1154 OS that is shipping on the Classic (allegedly). There are in fact two code forks in 10.3.1 now, so I find it a little hard to believe we will just get 10.3.1.1154. I suspect the carriers will release the second code fork after testing, and it may be their testing that caused the second code fork.
