I enter the password, the settings window/panel/box opens, and I have to close it (or minimize it anyway) before I can do anything.

Is there any way to turn this off? It didn't always do this. It started one day... then quit for a couple of weeks... then started again. I must have accidentally toggled something. VERY annoying.

    OS 10 version 10.3.1.2576

    Sorry, didn't understand your reply.

I'm talking about when I lock the screen. Then I enter the password-- which I do know, because I created it-- to unlock the screen and the settings window automatically appears. I had to start locking the screen because too much ****-dialing was happening. The phone would bounce around in my purse and push the buttons on the keyboard. This is a BB Classic, which has a physical keyboard.

If you're asking if the PHONE is locked (meaning it is married to a provider like AT&T or Sprint), no it is not locked. I bought the phone outright and I own it.
