I'm sure if they really wanted to they could separate the WebView like Android, I've not seen the browser code (it's open source isn't it?)
Isn't Browsie Browser based on the same source as well for instance?

I have no idea, I've never looked into it with any real enthusiasm to be honest; I had my own browser on Symbian but stopped that project all-together,

From what I've read it's all about the certification, why would this be something you are eagerly waiting for.

If they get NIEP certification then I will certainly not upgrade the FW as I don't want that NSA crap in the phone.

I don't think you know what NIAP certification is.

Please tell us what it is then. Is it certification of security so that it can be used for government and military use? I'm sure this certification is about "keeping an open door".

I'm also anxiously looking forward to the new BlackBerry OS 10.3.3 update. I don't even remember when was the last time we had the last OS updates.

It is the opposite of providing an open door.

I don't believe that 10.3.3 will be released this July, since it is not even on NIAP evaluation list as I spotted this earlier this month. Though, time will tell soon.

Why? Since BlackBerry isn't available anywhere on the NIAP website, it would probably mean that Chen is lying again.

I still find it even harder to believe that there are only 9 things in the entire world pending certification.

It's believable once you consider that only nine people care about NIAP.

I have a look on NIAP page. Neither in evaluation products, complete evaluation, or archieve product do contain Blackberry OS10.3.3 except RIM and that was 2009.
Quiet surprising when i found iOS9, iOS9.2 are in. S6 Edge, S7 Edge also in.
Is it true Chen is lying? What for? Or he actually do have a better plan for us?

Oh, really? The evaluation procedures for recent products from Oracle, Microsoft and Cisco started this June. We've been hearing this "waiting for NIAP certification" mantra since last March, but no real evidence of that. However, I would assume that there are other lists, but why then can we find Apple, Microsoft products in evaluation list of NIAP? NIAP is not an organization that would post outdated info on their website. If BlackBerry did apply for certification then NIAP would definitely post it in its evaluation list (if evaluation procedure really has started).
Some of you here have contacts with BlackBerry insiders, then raise this question to them. Because NIAP has nothing to do with the failure of BlackBerry to deliver 10.3.3 in promised time.
PS: Chen is already a lier since he postponed release date several times already.
