Stop being a cry baby! If you are so eager, download and install a leak! It works just fine. I got my update long back. It was not by the carrier but directly from BlackBerry.

I downloaded a leak on my z10 and then was having network issues then the official update came and that solved the issue.. why has blackberry not updates factory unlocked phones in india and is rolling out updates region wise..

There is nothing special about the networks in India that require custom OS versions.

I can't speak to what you "tried" before, or how you went about it, but there are about a million reasons why you might have had problems with a particular install - but it was absolutely not because of the need for a custom Indian OS variant.

Guys, don't get mad about updates. What exactly is missing in the version you run at the moment and is it that makes one so desperate to get a new version?

I do agree that the way upgrades are deployed is not a sustainable model but I don't have any productivity or quality issue with my current version.

Certainly I would like to get the new version, but it doesn't makes me checking for updates n times a day either.

Its just a false update notification.
When battery under 20 if we try to check for update device show a notification in hub thet to continue update please charge the device.
Just bug which I also faces on 10.3.1.1779

Absolutely wrong, I am using 10.3.1.1779 on Z3 and this never happens to me. No other user seem to have reported having such bug ever.

BlackBerry OS 10.2.1 is certainly matured OS which can't have such stupid bugs.

It could be so that randomly few devices may be getting false notifications, but battery level has nothing to do with that.

Iam not claiming that this is a os bug at all. I just Faced it and tried it and certainly can say that its not a false notification from BlackBerry. it's just a false notification from the device and its happen when you check for update under 20 or on 20 level of the battery

So for me 10.3.1 and 10.3.2 both showing this false notification.

I meant to say, 10.2.1 onwards, I believe BlackBerry OS has improved a lot and been matured, so it would not have such bug as you mentioned in your post.

The main reason I don't wanna install leak, am sure that's why you having such a bug. Tried it up to 10 times and no such bug on my device, I haven't gotten the update yet, but am going to Wait because I keep seeing different leaks which means blackberry is still working on something imo.

Count how many times you have told them but they are still stuck on their OFFICIAL thing even when 10.3.2.2339 is no more a leak but official one. They come with lame reason of REGIONALLY different UPDATE or something else. Next time you tell they going to come up with new excuse so why bothering.

Why is this thread even open? There is nothing to discuss or help when people are not even willing to do except complaining.

Every update came will they do it by themselves

In any response of Conite, he never been harsh or negative about repeatedly suggesting to do updates ourselves, that's great thing about him.

But why are you being harsh & excessively bothered about it when you have no point to suggest or have no respect for others.

I believe basic etiquette on any forum site is to respect everyone and their preferences.
