Now that whatsapp extended its support for bb10 until dec 2017, how many think that it'll continue to support bb10 and for how long?

Is BlackBerry going to relaunch bb10 secretly and whatsapp knows about it so the extension? Just speculating.. hahaha..

    I don't think they'll push end of support back a 3rd time.
Of course I wouldn't mind if they did.

I think its great! I might buy another Passport instead of a Keyone or a OnePlus 5.

My Passport died a couple of months ago. I am now back on my old Q10. But I miss my Passport every day...

Sad day, I was already so hyped to get rid of whatsapp using support ending as an excuse. Well we will see what happens after this year.

It doesnt see the mobile network anymore. So no more phone calls and texting. Wifi and Bluetooth are still fine. It is more than 2 years old. Still a great device, the best I had, but I need the mobile network

I suspect they only pushed it back because they aren't yet ready to introduce the new features they had planned. Just a brief reprieve.

    WhatsApp.

The reason for dumping the BB10 app in the first place was their statement that new features would go beyond what BB10 could deliver.

Waiting to see what the price is of OnePlus 5. It looks spectacular. The new camera is dual setup so I'm thinking over 5 bills

They must be waiting until it would be too expensive to update. Once they have to put work into it they will probably end support.

Or... could Whatsapp be thinking about acquiring BB10 and releasing its own Z70 all touch device?

I think the extension could be due to me. I've been literally sending at least 1,000 messages a day which sums up to 30,000 messages a month. When Whatsapp saw the huge amount of messages sent through their servers, they might have thought that, there are many WhatsApp users on BlackBerry 10....hahahahaha

In India their prices are published. The price of the 64GB is 10% higher than the price of a 64GB 3T and the price of the 128GB is 8.6% higher than the 128GB 3T. So you figure it out.
