Fixer is not needed.

It is for me for some reason. I can't send pictures, video or voicenotes. I get that same issue in the thread of "the file you picked was not a photo": https://forums.crackberry.com/blackb...1/index13.html

Unless I'm doing something really wrong, but I'm not sure what else to do. Suggestions?

I just know that nobody uses what you are using. I'm pretty sure people are having trouble sending videos but I don't think that has anything to do with Whatsfixer. Maybe someone else will chime in that can tell you what to do. My impression was that all you need to do is download and install from the link that I gave you above, tap outside the warning box (if it appears) then start using the app. Maybe you need to uninstall everything on your device then reboot and install new. For safety, copy the WA folder onto a usb stick or elsewhere so that you can place it back later.

Tried that, unfortunately. All this came from updating to the latest version of WA. Done the whole song and dance, lost all my change history along the way. Been a great week

Sorry to hear - that WA file should always be copied somewhere so that you can re-populate your chats. Hope you can get it sorted. It's amazing to me that WA even works on a BB10 device still.

Same issue here - and also on the latest version of WhatsApp (downloaded from official website). Tried transferring WhatsApp folder to sd card but issue still persists.

Can you tell which version of Whtsapp are you using? I mange to copy all whatsapp folders to USB dongle via OTG using BB file explorer. I'm on WA 1.2.2107.4000 (2.22.10.74)

It is possible to send all the media.. but voice notes recording unfortunately don't work.

I think I read on here if you do a small crop to the picture you need to send it will then send it, it may have been for Android BB’s though but worth a try.

As joeldf says though it’s highly unlikely anyone is going to look at any updates to get WhatsApp fully functional on BB10 now.
