    Hey All,

Since we are now just a couple of months away from no native whatsapp support I was wondering if anyone has a clever idea on how to sideload whatsapp and what kind of issues where will be. I have looked at a couple of other threads about this and some are quite old and some recent ones seemed to contradict each other. So I was just wondering if anyone could give me first hand experience. I am specifically interested in

    1) Does the webversion work?
    2) do attachments work with the fixer?
    3) do audio calls work?
    4) do video cals work?
    5) does it run in the background and auto start up? ie when i reboot my blackberry does it also start up or do i need to open the app first so it runs in the background
    6) is the battery life impacted?
    7) can i just get the latest version from the play store?
    8) and maybe any other comments r suggestions you have for someone looking to switch.

Thank y'all for your time and help

Take some time to search here...... as this has been asked and asked and asked for a year now. LMGTFY

But until WhatsApp does whatever they are doing... no one really knows what work arounds will still work or what limitations there might be.
