Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this.
In the android version of whats app, I have the option to clear messages in any particular chat or group that I have open.
I do not see that option in whatsapp for bb10.

For single contact chats, I can delete the entire chat to clear the history. However I cannot delete the group, because it will remove me from the group.

Anyone have any ideas? I do not see the option anywhere.

Oh wow. I hadn't even realised till your post. Too caught up with making sure it actually works and didn't look into these options.

Looks like these options need to be included in the next software update. I hope someone who is already in contact with WhatsApp can request on our behalf. I emailed them and they didn't even respond.

Yes. You need to give full permission in your Application Permissions settings.

The application permissions setting is checked in full by default. I still don't have the option to delete the group chat 'content'. How do you do it?

I miss "clear history" option. It would be great if we have to clear lot of conversations.
