    Here's screenshot. What's the icon mean? it only appear for a short time, and will dissappear by itself.

    I'm pretty sure that is showing that an app is using or was recently using GPS.

    Indeed. An app using Geo-Location services. Even if you have geolocation turned off on the phone, if you give permission for an app to access the feature, the app will use it as required.
