    I want to try something other than the stock browser on my passport.

    By using Browsie Browser, you can change the user agent to Android or iOS so websites will work better. It also comes with ad-block. The basic engine of the browser is the same otherwise.

    If you want to try a lightweight Android bowser, you may like this:

    Opera mini from the amazon app store? I tend to use that when I find a site that doesn't work well on the stock browser.
