Use youtube then copy and paste the video link into youtube to mp3 converter web page and then download right to your phone. A few steps but works great! Gotta love a real browser on a mobile phone!

Such a hater.....
Amazon MP3 works well, BBWorld, YouTube Downloader... There are more
Because he has a different opinion? I think your the hater.
I am a BlackBerry fan and I completely agree with him, in the current smartphone market, these apps should be easily accessible and please dont bull**** for an argument sake about the moral dilemma of piracy. BlackBerry users aren't exactly saints either. The whole world downloads music for free.

Pre456 gets it.

Haha, it's just the truth. Not everyone likes to hear it :)
Not sure where you got the piracy thing from... Kinda jumped the gun there, I think... But nothing is stopping anyone from just googling song-name.mp3 and downloading that way. the original question was whether there were apps available or not. Your buddy said no, but the answer is yes. Pretty straightforward
Why isn't there a utorrent app?

Side load tiny tunes. You can download a ton of individual MP3

I was going to suggest the very same thing...
Pretty sure BlackBerry said they wouldn't post apps that were explicitly used for illegal activity. You can sideload torrent apps from Android though
Just search "(song name) mp3" on your browser. Most likely it will be at mp3skull or beemp3, just hold down download and press save link as on menu. It will download and you can save it to your media card or device and will be available on the music app.
Of course you shouldn't illegally download music but if you already own the song then I don't see why not ;)
Or if you have music on your computer and you have BlackBerry Link you can use the file manager to connect wirelessly to your computer and copy music to your device. Or just sync music files from BlackBerry Link when you connect via usb.

I just google search whatever song or album I want then add sharebeast zippyshare or hulkshare at the end of my search. Directly dl on my phone no need for apps.

You know where I can find an apk or bar?
Angel, the great thing about BB10 is the amazing browser... going to Amazon MP3 you can purchase and download directly without needing the app. Just click on the small SKIP link when it tells you that you need to download the Amazon App and the browser will prompt you to save the MP3 as you wish.

Spotify let's you download songs to device for offline use, but I think you were looking for a non DRM option yes?
