there are a couple of things I love about the new 10.2 update.

1. instant previews & reply
   
2. android 4.2.2 runtime: now all my android ports are silky smooth when scrolling (eg. stocks, instagram) and no more lag when I play real racing 3!
3. unique lock screen with your car's make that prevents you from looking at your lock screen notifications. pretty cool feature!

I just noticed it in the recent 10.2 update. when I get into my car, phone automatically pairs with the car and then asks me if this (make) is my primary vehicle. I say yes and it sets it up as my car. so now whenever im in my car, it will display: "Connected to" and the logo of your car's maker, "hands free voice control", and "phone book access".

usually we would get lock screen notifications and previews by pressing on the message, but this screen prevents me from viewing any notification on the lock screen, possibly to reduce driving distractions

nope, did not have to re-pair my phone. it just asks me if this was my primary car

Never noticed this. Gonna have to check it out. Although my truck has MS SYNC so may not work

Is Microsoft Sync the reason this isn't working for me then? I have a 2012 Ford Focus with My Ford Touch. But I've seen other Ford users with this feature. Hmmmm.

When you Bluetooth link your phone to your car you get that screen which shows the brand (my Lexus shows Toyota!) so you cannot drive and sneak peeks at your lock screen notifications and distract yourself.
