My new Q10 is my eleventy-ninth BlackBerry and I seem to love this phone as no other, even with its lovely defect of being toolbelt-less. Its tiny, its fast, its got a roaring good speaker(!), which I didnt know about, and its got a great battery. And it comes in white yay! I had no idea THIS would be the Most Perfect BlackBerry Ever. I may cease to be a simcard flipper and just leave it in the Q10.
A word of advice from the worlds worst simcard switcher: Never, ever, EVER use a simcard adapter on a Q10. They will NOT let it go, you WILL crack your pins and be very sorry, and the simcard tray replacement is not an easy thing to face.
Miracle #1 for me might work for someone else. I slid my nano sim back in (minus the wrecked adapter) near as I could towards the right and pressed down on op and bottom of the simcard while waiting for the restart, just to see if it could respond, since I had wrecked the outermost pins already and had nothing left to lose but my simcard. There was a flicker in the upper right corner saying the sim was detected, kinda. I slid a narrow piece of cardstock under the top right side and restarted the phone.
My simcard is functioning! I have been forgiven for being a total stupid @--$--$--!
Oh, and it has that FM radio I couldnt get on my Bold 9900.
Q10 is Da Winner!!!
And da Bomb!!!
And my Favorite (but never my Only!) BlackBerry.
