Hey everybody,
So after the rumored 10.3 OS in an article on BlackBerryItalia arrived recently (for which I will put the link at the end), is it true? Do you guys have any idea if we will have 10.3 or will it rather be released as 11 ?

Also, if it is released, what would you like to see ?
I'll start by saying a re-furbished UI would be great, love BB 10 but could be more modern like the photo I am attaching here. Also, what everybody has always loved... THEMES ! I mean, who doesn't like to change his icons and how they are set ? (

10.3 should have a redesigned UI for certain. Get rid of that shading around the icons. And, jazz up the live tiles a bit. Make them interactive as well. I would love to see support for live wallpapers also. TAT had some interesting demos about two years ago with an outstanding media player and viewer. It was to show the power of the OS. However, this should be included in 10.3. Really, any of that crazy TAT goodness should be present. I am hoping some of these things come before 10.3.

I'm guessing 10.3 will land early summer 2014 at best (outside of the US) so that would be less than 18 months after BB10 was released. I don't think that's long enough to make drastic changes to the UI, very subtle changes have been happening all year long as they should be but drastic changes should be reserved for BB11 or whatever they call it next.

The development time would be better spent implementing new features we want, many of them from BBOS that were great but didn't make it to BB10 initially, but some of them simply developments of ideas that have been introduced in BB10 and can be expanded upon further.

I don't see BB10.3 coming for a while.
They haven't even released 10.2.1 to the general public yet, and even then who's to say what's coming after that.

It certainly would be exciting, but I don't see it happening any time soon.

Personally, I don't want a drastic UI change as BlackBerry 10 is pretty easy to use and efficient. 10.2.1 makes it even more so. I'm not even attracted to whatever os is pictured in the original post... the only change I want is for the dial pad and phone screen to look as polished as the keyboard and rest of the os... 10.2 has the right look on the answer screen just not the dial pad

YES! when in holster, just vibrate, 1 for text/notification, 2 for email, continuous for ringer.

They changed that up in 10.12.1 Luca, the leak has a sweet new Pic lock password which I have come to love. Hopefully it makes it to the official release.

Yes. They had this in BBOS but haven't implemented it in bb10

I doubt the resolution will be 1280x768 - it makes no sense.

BB has already stated x720 is the default with (Z10 is the initial exception - it was too far in the production to be changed).

- Media player able to rotate. Ability to customise playing screen would be good, too.
- Data services on/off by application (eg BBM & email on, Twitter & Facebook off)

- Improved Bridge - allow it to work as a BT mouse/keyboard for anything, not just Playbook (like it used to be)

I have to admit this looks REALLY nice, especially for the picture view, a bit like the old Safari screen you had when you opened a new page.
