They changed that up in 10.12.1 Luca, the leak has a sweet new Pic lock password which I have come to love. Hopefully it makes it to the official release.

I have seen that, and tried it and it felt great ! The only thing is that I find that it is quite disturbing to use when you are in a hurry cause you have to be quite precise... I was just talking about the look of the password.

I would love to have some kind of sound when the battery level is low when talking on the phone. Ive had the phone completely die on me at least 3 times now while talking. At least give a bit of notice so you have the chance to plug it in while talking... What sucks is you have to wait a few minutes for the phone to charge up just to boot it up again.

That media player demo is neat but it didn't look hierarchical.

Just looked like a generic gui demo.

There is more value in easily finding the media you want than what doing so looks like.

Fixing the biggest irritants should have high priority as they would be the major reason for me to switch to a more mature OS.

Top of my list (things that irritate me daily):

1. Meeting reminders interrupt me constantly and you can't use the phone until they are all either snoozed or dismissed (not even cut calls). Solution would be a "snooze all" button together with the same notification used for emails. Increasing snooze time also a good idea.

2. Keyboard inconsistencies - suggests wrong ending, tense etc for word suggestions. Adds space after words which then have to be manually deleted except for stop and comma's. This wastes a lot of time when composing text.

3. Clumsy password screen.

4. Lacking filters for BB World.

5. Cluttered hub - too many items and no way to organize the order. Drag and drop option?

6. 16 app limit for folders is too small.

7. Cut and paste still needs work.

8. More contacts sort options like iOS.

9. Night (quiet) notification settings.

10. Camera app is difficult to swipe to exit.

11. Multiple message delete does not show how many messages are selected. No undo function.

12. QWERTY keyboard does not have quick access buttons for symbols. Long press on Q for example should bring up digit 1 as an option.

13. No browser folder options.

Blackberry Blend is something I look forward to!
I don't really care about themes, 99% of the time they're really ugly, tacky and lack cohesion.
Also being able to change my default browser would be good.

Pocket settings is the new holster settings :P also I think it'd be cool if the phone could change from vibrate to ring by going in my pocket.

Also the keyboard inconsistencies is a big deal. Sample sentence "hey do you want to go for a *running*" that kind of stuff.

10.3 should have a redesigned UI for certain. Get rid of that shading around the icons. And, jazz up the live tiles a bit. Make them interactive as well. I would love to see support for live wallpapers also. TAT had some interesting demos about two years ago with an outstanding media player and viewer. It was to show the power of the OS. However, this should be included in 10.3. Really, any of that crazy TAT goodness should be present. I am hoping some of these things come before 10.3.

But TAT isnt really TAT anymore. They all left and started a new company.

I really hope that the TAT concepts make it. They cocked up the PlayBook, look what it is capable of doing. Love my little tablet but could have been so much more! Poor execution. Poor follow through, they should have given TAT complete control over the PlayBook. And then followed there lead when designing ui for bb10. Bring back gestures playbooks have add and then add more. Well here's to hoping!!
Guess we will all have to wait and see if they can deliver, I'm positive they have talented enough staff. Management needs some serious updating.

Nah. Seven of those TAT folks left leaving behind about a hundred others. Still a team in place to give out some goodies. Also, BlackBerry could always farm out some design jobs to those seven TAT members who left. So, things are still in place for good stuff to come.

Sure, but it was the founder and design leads that left, not some interns.
As fat as working together in the future,maybe, but they must have left for a reason. They may not wish to work with blackberry again.

There are enough people from TAT left to make things happen still. Seven guys left to form their own company. Seven. So, it is not like everyone from the team is gone. I am not saying these guys are the UI saviors or anything, but I hope they can work some magic still and actually implement said magic into the OS. Not too far fetched to think they can. If it doesn't happen, still not a deal-breaker for me.
