I like the current 10.2 leaks with the runtime, nearly flawless and fast, but I think what would really be nice, is a good working BBLink that actually would sync, back up and restore correctly, with all email clients and especially Outlook 2007/2010, etc. Link is really marginal at best. Even the newest download though better for sure, still lacks the basics that all other phone's software has. Getting that up and running at least as good as the old BBDM would be a huge improvement IMO.

Of course 10.2.1.XXXX first but what things can they add to go above and beyond the competition? 10.2 is bringing headless apps, toast, instant reply (all awesome), but what cool new features could they add with the power of QNX?

How about doing something we've seen before and bring back all the missing stuff from bb7. Speed dialing from home screen, hot keys from home screen, q10 specific features their "old" os had 4 years ago.

How about getting search to come up anywhere instead of using the app...the two finger swipe to pull up keyboard thing is already there, but it's useless on the main screen...why not make that a way to get search to work?

I love this idea and really think they should implement this!! like you said...Two finger swipe up brings up the keyboard...anywhere in the app launcher or multitasking screen you just do that gesture and as it pulls up the keyboard it opens the search field

More VPN support (openvpn)
More headless apps
More wolfram alpha integration, as well as phone control using the voice input.
USB connectivity

I know the api's for these have been added in 10.2, but needs apps/development or something to get the ball rolling. I get the impression there is more 10.2 SDK work to do to complete these fully.

Today I wanted to add a reminder to check server backups at 3pm, "Monday to/through friday", and it would only do Monday. If it worked, I know I would have converted two people to BB. So just being more advanced in what it can do.

Oh, and if BlackBerry can come up with an easy to use PGP type encrypted email system that makes it super easy to upload public keys to a public server and pull down ones you don't already have, this would be a game changer. Maybe exchange keys over BBM? Something that tells you if your contacts have PGP so your emails could be automatically encrypted or not... make it seamless so that there isn't much hassle, and this will take off like crazy. I think it hasn't yet is because the average bear is too lazy for the hassle.

I would like an option where the homescreen can be kept blank. It should also have an option where the weather app shows with time/date and weather info shown as a widget.

No it doesn't. Show me how to speed dial from the homescreen? Or launch the calendar app by just hitting "l". Show me how app developers can tie certain function to home screen keyboard presses...

These features do not exist.
