    Is anyone using NFC for anything right now? I know it's early in development as an overall standard, but wanted to know if there's anything cool anyone has found to do with it so far. Thanks.

    I do!!

    I have a pair of headphones with NFC embedded in the left ear cup, when I tap my phone against it, my phone connects immediately via bluetooth!

    It is more handy than cool, but I have two Mifare sticker chip in my car si when I go to work, one deactivate cellular services and activate Wifi (I work in an uncovered zone, but we got wireless internet), and another when I go back home to switch back to regular use.

    No, there are several posts about how CIBC and RBC are rolling out their services. You need a new SIM and a supported provider. Should pick up from here out once they work the kinks out and ready to rock and roll.
