4. Offline mapping - Done completely via 3rd party, this is not Blackberry's strength and I think its better to partner with someone than play catch up. Nokia seems the most obvious partner as I highly doubt Google wants to support BB in any way.

The chances of Nokia giving (as in licensing) their Offline Mapping to a competitor on a completely different platform is slim to none. They'll probably license the tech for Online Mapping (probably without Spoken Turn by Turn), but I'm not sure they'll go any further than Google was willing to go with Apple, for example. Offline Mapping from Nokia? Pipe Dream.

If BB10 has a mapping problem, then Nokia would like it to stay that way so that it remains a selling point for their devices (and their chosen platform) over BB's own platform.

6. BB Cloud. - Dont partner with anyone like Dropbox or Box because Google, Apple and Microsoft are still relatively new in this area and BB should look to develop its own expertise in cloud instead of just giving up in this area. Release APIs so that devs can add it to non BB apps.

Microsoft Launched SkyDrive in August 2007. That service is about as old as the iPhone product. I wouldn't call that relatively new.

DropBox is newer than SkyDrive, even. It launched something like a year later.

I think they just need to add a lot of q10 specific features. Speed dial, customizable application shortcuts from the main screen, hotkeys, etc.

Leverage the keyboard and what made blackberry great in the first place!

I created a thread elsewhere on this but I would like to see the music app updated with more functions. Specifically the lock screen controls. Something that doesn't disappear after 3 seconds. A more permanent option perhaps gesture based to reveal it in the lock screen.

I want to see the password field moved to the lock screen so we can unlock and wakeup the Q10 by pressing the power button (or deholstering) then typing the password (should automatically have the password field in focus) and pressing enter.

This would make it much nicer than swiping up, clicking field, typing, then entering password.

10.3 to the z10 will be like bb6 was to the 9700. Sure it will run but by the time we go thru all the 10.2 incarnations and get to an official 10.3 release it will be pretty late in the z10s life cycle. 10.3 will probably be made to take advantage of quad core 4gb plus phones.

Updating a phones OS is never too late. These people are in a 2/3 year contract, some don't even upgrade If the phone they're currently using fits for themself perfectly. 2014 will be the year phones gets the 4GB. I'm just waiting to see this whole "mobile commuting" Thor talks so much about.

- Browser needs to load in the background. I open a page minimise to do something else come back and it needs to load.

- More customisation all around. People love to do this, will only help to sell the phones.

- Easier text selection for copy paste.

- Optimize it so it can be run on lower specs and run faster/smoother on current devices.
