    Eh...

Landscape Homescreen. Hub can be landscape, apps can be landscape, so why not the homescreen? It breaks the flow

Screen saver, agreed, but um... considering the use case of smartphones, may not be necessary.

Android 4.2 should be enough for now, but 4.3 won't hurt.

Multiple screens in one folder. Why is it that folders can only have 16 apps at any given time? Now I have 2 "unused" folders, and I'd rather have only one.

Better File Manager. Especially in copying and pasting.

Better Media apps. Music, picture, videos, current UI is horrendous.

    More PROFILES! F**k yeah

Fix the issue with receiving new emails while trying to tag current ones. For those not familiar with it, if you are in the middle of tagging email for deletion or folder transfer and a new file is received in the hub, all that work gets reset. Very annoying.

The ability to zoom in on running videos, like you can on the playbook.

Would be very useful on the Q10.

Also OpenVPN support, or at least the APIs to allow Devs to make OpenVPN support.

I could be wrong but my belief is that they will develop a personal cloud system. It will go hand in hand with remote file access. You will have remote sync/backup/restore all to your home computer. BlackBerry doesn't need to hold my information on their servers like apple Microsoft and Google. I would much prefer to do it myself.

I think BlackBerry is creating little blackberry severs, kinda like personal BlackBerry servers and could market it as such. It would be a dumbed down bes like service for consumers. With less security options and encryption but still be the most secure personal cloud storage service on the market with the exception of a paid bes service. I'd pay a premium for this on a handset that intergrates with the most secure personal mobile cloud storage service. It would be for people who don't want the likes of Google or Apple to have access to any of their information. Just my thoughts.

I really want to see 10.3 focus on neatening up the OS and bringing it up to QNX standards (hopefully most requested features are in by 10.2MR).

Specifically, everything should be made more modular and based on APIs: it currently appears as if BB10 is a monolithic system built on a microkernal OS which completely defeats the purpose (and makes it difficult to strip down for worse hardware like the PlayBook).

One example of the monolithic nature of the system is the hub: all cotent should be handled and stored by its respective (headless) apps only (eg: Facebook, Twitter, BBM, etc...) and the hub should only provide an interface to those apps (not communicate with servers or store data itself).

I would like to see it modular enough to be able to be stripped down and run on PlayBook hardware (or even better, optimized enough to not require stripping down).

    Further Suggestions:
    1) Hub integration through APIs: headless app should deal with message gather and sending and simply show the threads in the hub (this would make future messaging apps quicker to add).
    2) File manager integration APIs: provide access to file manager for other cloud storage (SkyDrive, Google Drive, etc...).
    3) Instant Actions API: allow the assigning of instant action keywords to third party apps.
    4) Most preloaded apps should be removable (Games, Weather, Maps, etc...). The default app for each file type/action should be selectable in settings.
    5) Control over background services and headless apps: should have a detailed menu of all services and apps and allow them to be disabled.
    6) Accounts in Settings API (one location to control accounts for all apps).
    7) Unified phone app with combined text and call conversations for each number (like BBM), as well as an email app (more control than in hub).

What about q10 specific features? Speed dialing, app launches from the home screen, hot keys, text selection using the hardware keys and the circle thingy, more hub keyboard shortcuts, hangup phone call with space bar, etc.

That's part of what made blackberry so efficient and I feel like they abandoned the many keyboard specific features.

Top corner gesture to reveal home screen bar so you can toggle settings without leaving an app. This should also show the Date!

This is the biggest thing I find missing from the PlayBook OS.

How about continuing to fill out the feature set of bedside mode.
    I want:
    • Auto on/off
    • A favourite setting to allow certain contacts to always be able to contact me while in bedside mode

Iphone can do this…legacy bb could do this (at least the first one).
    Bb10 can't do either

Live Web search /interactive bar replaces magnifying glass, ala Android. Would allow you to type a letter (say, F, for Facebook ) then use what comes next as the content. S would be search.

One-gesture close option for leaving apps.

Simplified animations. It's too ornate right now and slows everything down.

Need more Native Apps. I don't want converted/sideloaded apps and even if every app I needed was available as a sideload I still won't buy the Z10 because that doesn't really give me much confidence in the ecosystem.

I'm ready for an upgrade and have money to give to some company, but without me seeing them being serious about getting the apps I need onto their OS, it's a showstopper.

If they think saying nothing and running the show like it's the FBI is going to give anyone confidence that they're making a wise purchase going with BB10, they couldn't be more wrong.

They need to give [those of] us [with upgrades available currently evaluating our choices] some info, or we'll just go with the least common denominator. That is *not* BB10.

I don't want Android player apps, sorry. I have heard too many horror stories (and it doesn't give me confidence in their ecosystem or seriousness about pushing BB10 itself the way they *should* be pushing it).

    Music equalizer
    Emoji (sending them)
    Keyboard shortcuts
    Update runtime probably will come
Maybe a reverse peek function. Up to the left.. and something pops up.
    Contacts app
A set white or black theme no half\half
    Themes\ different icons.

I'm on 10.2 as of last night and feel this OS is really taking shape. I am content but there's always room for improvement keep it up BlackBerry.
