I just had some signal issues with my z30. As I arrived at home, I noticed the erratic signal of 1 bar to full bar on the upper right side of the status area.

It seems that when I am now inside my house I see the "emergency calls only" icon.

Nothing new to me, since that has happened permanently on my passport.

My z30 seems to be heading the same direction, earlier than expected.

I can only hope that it is a carrier issue that is affecting my area.

Right now it's full bar inside my house on a 2g connection to the carrier.

I have it now on automatic selection for 4g/3g/2g.

It seems to be stable with 2g.

I ran the BlackBerry Software Logging Tool, I noticed in the results "Sapphire Status" is empty. What does that mean?

Thanks in advance for any info...

I remember being with one carrier and my phones (no matter which one) only worked when I was upstairs or outside. :-(
Some carriers give you an option (for an additional charge) to have a small boosting antenna inside your home for better reception.
