This would give enough time for people to pre-order when the pre-order opens on Jan 30th, to come in 2 weeks.

Imagine the tagline, "Make Blackberry 10, your valentine" lol BB10 will you be my valentine?
"Appreciate the ones you love my giving them the phone they will love, Blackberry 10"

I can go on and on. But what do you think of the date?
