I am using 10.3 which has Assistant. That part is nice but I can't seem to simply search for a contact like I used to. Am I doing somehow wrong?
I used to hit the search button on the home screen and start searching for a contact and it would come right up.

I found settings that allowed me to change it back to the way it used to work.

It works great for me. I also suggest checking the settings to make sure contacts are checked off under device search settings.

The first time I tried the non official leak OS I found it annoying too and still do. I think search assistants are gimmicks and manual searches are still faster. Hopefully there is an option to turn it off and have the current system from 10.2.1 enabled instead.

Yes, I think I made it go back to the way it was.
I don't mind changes, as long as I have to option to turn it off if I don't like it.
