What happened to my suggested contacts when composing an email after 10.3.2 update?

I recently updated my z10 with an over the air update from Bell to the new 10.3.2. Since the update my phone no longer suggests contacts when I compose an email. To clarify - when I used to compose an email, I would start typing "J-O" and then "[email protected]" would pop up as a suggested contact based on the number of emails that I had sent to him recently. Since the update to 10.3.2. when I start typing "J-O" it only comes up with people who are in my contact list and not people who I have recently contacted by email. It's very frustrating as the majority of my emails focus around people I only ever email 2-3 times and have no interest/need to add them to my contacts list. To my knowledge I haven't made any changes to the settings of the phone. Can anyone please help as this glitch has essentially rendered my phone useless given what I use it for.
