What do you mean by camera driver?

The camera is light years ahead of bbos.

And snooze time on the fly. I didn't know what I had until it was gone!!

Random snoozes woke me up waaaaay nicer - now I just get used to the pattern an ignore me alarm.

I'm not sure if OS7 had it, but BlackBerry needs to be able to hyperlink or connect user-specified emails with tasks and calendar events.

Wow, I forgot to mention this one. Even though the excuse is the existence of IMAP I miss that feature too for POP3 accounts

    Posted via CB10
POP is essentially a dead protocol. Outside of ISP email accounts, it's not even offered as a first choice anymore. IMAP, EAS, and similar solutions have replaced it, and hopefully will kill it off.

I will agree that BBOS had a few more POP friendly features but it was also an OS from a different era.

I think it's spotty throughout the os like in browser you will never see a hyperlink number or address.

I'm not sure if bbos had the second feature request though

Isn't that what the updates and activity tabs are for within contacts?

I don't think it is a dead protocol yet. POP and IMAP were created about the same time in history. IMAP is most powerful than POP but because of their nature they serve for different purposes.

IMAP for those who want to leave everything in the server and use different devices to read their email. It is a brilliant way of keeping email organized across multiple devices.

And POP, for example, is powerful if you use one or few devices and prefer not to leave emails in the server.

The above just to mention a couple of possibilities out the many people use one protocol over the other.

Returning to the POP as a dead protocol, I bet there are different advantages of POP over IMAP depending on the nature of use.

However who says that auto Bbc is just to copy the email to the same email address that originated the message. Like the way IOS currently assumes for their users. It could be a BBC to a different email address for backup purposes or else.

With that said, auto bbc was a nice feature that does no harm to have it in OS10. It gives more than what it takes. So why not having it again?

    1,
On my 9930 if I sync'd several video clips the FULL TITLE would scroll no matter how long it was...
...Blackberry took a huge leap backwards with how it works on BB10.
...This part of it was done slip shod as was the battery problem.

As for me, I'd like them to change the list of calls you have made. When you make several calls to one person during one day it should not be several different notes. It was good to have one line and you could see the history if you wanted to! That was good!

I don't know if it's an OS thing or a device thing, but I loved having a programmable convenience button on the side, I used it a lot....so much easier to hit the key and go right to the function you wanted instead of scrolling and swiping. I had mine programmed to bbm, so I could easily reply to my daughter's bbms all day

Would you pay for BlackBerry Protect to do that for you? BlackBerry can't afford to do that for free anymore, maybe they could in the future if their finances improve but Cloud Storage costs money to provide.

That the extra button that was programmable and there is no sign of that hardware coming back.

There could be a way to long press volume bumpers or the mute/pause button.
There are plenty of android apps that do that so I don't find an issue in implementing it.

For me it's having different volume levels within the same profile for different applications. So if I want my ringer loud but not my junk email account I could. On BB10 if I want my ringer loud everything has to be loud also.

Most of the other complaints I see here are not necessarily legit as they do have some of the features people are missing but just not across the board. My tasks and calendar sync with my exchange. My led has customized colors with bbuz. My voicemail password isn't a problem as I can skip the password from my phone with a network setting.

    Missed mine.
More refined backup databases when using desktop backup. BBOS had 50-60 backup databases (contacts, contact settings, calendar, calendar settings, etc). BB10 has 3 databases (6 if on BES)
