We all know of BB10, and we are all excited for it. But what could possibly deter you from purchasing a new BB10 device? For me, it would be lack of new music avaliable in Blackberry World, as I believe its called. Most artists see iTunes as the major digital music store, with Google Play as a distant second. Since Blackberry is seen as an "ancient" phone, I think most artists will be hesitant to allow their songs to be avaliable to be purchased on BB10 devices. But what would be your dealbreaker?

To make it short, my list that will cool me off (by order):
    1. BIS mandatory for data
    2. Skype (ohhh noooo... Not again)
    3. Price/quality
    4. Coolness of the phone (basically, if I like it or not)

RIM'S music partner is 7digital, which already offers a great catalog in its own stores on BBOS and the PlayBook. On BB10 the music store will be integrated (as will the video store). The UI previewed on the Dev Alphas looks fantastic.

Oh, and 7digital is also Google's music partner in Google Play.

The price tag. I don't care about apps as I use my phone mostly for email, communication and organization. If it is a $500 phone on contract, I'd have to wait. Otherwise, hurry up February!

Nothing. Not what the phone looks like/or doesn't look like, not the lack of the so-called MUST HAVE apps. BB10 looks to be the truth.

Major bugs in the overall UI, which I doubt will happen since it's being tested so much before launch.

To be fair, iTunes MUSIC has been DRM-free for years, but 7digital's music plays on iTunes just fine, too.

If your a happy BB user then ask yourself this: If a lack of apps deters me from BB10 then why am I with BB now? I cant imagine any reason why I wouldn't buy a bb10 phone...

The price and a lack of quality apps and games would push me towards another platform, it seems like on the apps and games front rim is really putting in work, so that shouldn't be an issue. That is if everything is indeed as it seems, which just leaves price. I still don't think the l series deserves a premium price when the specs are looking a bit dated, that is if the leaks from earlier in the year still hold truth.

Build quality. I want it to feel like a premium product. I also hate that I have to pay extra to be able to connect to the internet and have apps like Facebook work. I would much rather the internet and apps be allowed to use normal data, and maybe BBM and other perks be available as a paid add-on.

Also, RIM should release a high end model. Something to directly compete with the i-phone and galaxy s3. Nothing in the specs we've seen so far screams high end premium product.

There is a limit to the number of devices that you can have your song on.
You have to use iTunes to do the transfer.
You don't really own the music. I know I'll get ripped for this one...

Huh? I can put music on my bb, iPad, playbook, iPhone, iPod, galaxy nexus, a blank cd and a sd memory card. I'm not sure what you mean by me not owning the music.
