    Ok I installed 936 radio

When indoors, centre of home I can have 3 or a 4 bar signal, when I activate homescreen, then it immediately drops to 1 for few seconds then no signal at all.

    Hhmm

    Q10 - 10.3.1.1949
Now can you accept my words, that other's opinion of a radio makes no difference, and you have to seek out what works best for you?

I'm going to try a couple of these radios on my Passport and see if I can find one that gives me better cell reception. Have had some issues outside of town that I didn't seem to have with my Z30. Have also seen some no signal in town sometimes when waking phone. Never saw that before. Will report findings.

I'm still great on the radio I'm supposed to hate. 1950 on a Z30 using Verizon. I know, I know. It's gonna fail me at any moment.

I'm back to. 1055. Spent weeks testing out different radios. This is a hard question to answer since there is a lot of variability with usage, signals, etc. Think I'll stick to this until next official OS release (watching my clock).

I had a "Network Unavailable " error on .1005 so it isn't perfect. Luckily, I was able turn off radio and turn back on quickly. In the past, when that happens, full restart was often the only way as the cellular wouldn't turn off.

This issues seems to happen when the phone is trying to switch back from 4G to LTE after a recent phone call I think.

Your Wifi isn't controlled by the Radio file installed on your device it is a common misconception.

The WiFi is actually part of your Core OS and just depends on the OS installed on your device.

The Radio file only controls the cellular signal.
Not the WiFi and not the FM Radio.

Are you sure? If so, why do many people here confirm that their wifi was better with 939 or 996 radio?

    Almost positive.

    Just a sugarpill.
One person says WiFi is better on 939 people use 939 and say it's think it's better because it's working and other people said it was better.

    The Placebo Effect.

However loading a different OS can affect WiFi performance because WiFi Radio is controlled by Core OS.

    Kinda like radios.

Pretty sure it's in the radio stack, but I'll need to confirm.

Edit - And confirmed. All antenna related functions, ie cellular, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth etc are in the radio stack.

Wish I had an answer as to why some VZW users have this issue, while others do not. Seems VZW always have some radio problems, going back to the original Curve.

    2073 radio working very fine...
2g/3g signal seems boosted over earlyer leaks. ( data seems faster, but why?)
    WiFi - never drops
Nfc connects asap--- 1154 issue I faced
Bt- never checked in any leak
Battery - after 10/11 restarts given greater milage over last leak

Edit: I used autoloader and did not restore any old leak backup
