For WeChat on BB10 you have to find an old version. Sorry but I cannot remember which version but it is somewhere on this page: https://www.apkmirror.com/?post_type...age=2&s=wechat . Seems to me the last android version to work on BB10 was August 2017???? If no one else answers you , you will have to try the older versions as trial and error.

I tried several versions but finally decided not to bother and installed WeChat on my secondary device (Android). Whatever WeChat I tried on Q10 and later on Passport, was either slow or with notifications issues or else...

Ok, the last good version of WeChat on BB10 is version 6.3.13. This is a 2 year old version (sorry I was way off!). You can find it on my link above to ApkMirror . If I remember correctly, to install properly, you must FIRST completely remove all other WeChat files/folders etc using your File Manager app or using Windows Explorer from a usb link to your device. The folder that does not seem to be deleted is a TenCent folder somewhere under misc/android. You can also search for TenCent using device search. Delete that, reboot your device and then try the .apk again (6.3.13).

Still running native Wechat here. Indeed however there are some issues. Notifications only work when Wechat is "open". Video call only has one way sound (I can hear the person on the other side, they can't hear me). Running it on a Classic.

If you use SMS text message to do activation instead, it will work. Using 6.3.13 on a Q10 and Passport and it works fine including video calling.

Nope, does not work. It maybe works for you because you completed that process a while back but it doesn't work anymore.

Weirdest flaw in native Wechat I have now: only the moments of 1 person are shown anymore. Other contact moments are not showing.

You have to link your WeChat to Facebook in Android/IOS device first, then login with Facebook on the BB10 device. Please be noted that the latest supporting version is 6.3.13 in BB10.

As my experience, version 6.2 is worked on my Classic with OS10.3.3. I tired almost every version and find out this version is most stable one. But it still has bit bugs.

Yes, I agree with you. I am also using the version 6.2. But if you need the wallet function, you have to use 6.3.11 or 6.3.13.
