    So here. Open your gallery, then long tap the picture or video that you want to hide. Then at the right, there you can see options, to hide the picture.

    That we can hide our pictures. What a good feature!-img_20150101_124721.png

    After that, you can swipe from the top bezel, to display or not to display the hidden pictures.

    I think you can do it in the picture app. Right? If the video is taken by your phone.

    I tend to move my videos over to the videos folder so it doesn't show in the pictures app.

    It makes the device feel cleaner.

    I felt that way too but then I eventually got around to installing the 10.3.1.1949 leave and I have no regrets. The white keyboard alone gets me.
