In a Classic, waze 4.19.0.3 works without patching as Cobalt said before. It show the map and search works.

However it is unresponsive, from app monitor it uses a 20% of CPU what is a lot, compared with other apps.

Anyone is using Waze with success?
Why it is so heavy weight?

Android apps require more resources compared to native bb10 apps, I have spotify hogging 20% cpu usage while playing songs on my passport.

I use it on Q10. When i use it i just use the GPS so i didn't noticed any major unresponsiveness.

Can u check which version are u using?
Maybe it is a problem of recent version I think that Classic has higher hardware

I am using Waze from Amazon App Store, it is less laggy than the one from Google Play Store.

I had used it on my Q10 from there, but the lag was so bad that I was finding myself ahead of the GPS. Not good when you end up missing turns!
