Just a friendly PSA, found out today no one could leave me messages when I had wifi calling enabled. Actually I can enable and disable it and watch the options in the phone settings disappear for Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, and Call Blocking. Call waiting worked fine, I was able to jump between calls and all that however upon talking with a coworker later today all they got was a fast busy when it was supposed to go to voicemail.

I tried it a few times myself and as soon as I disabled wifi calling it went properly to voicemail, but as soon as I re-enabled it the caller got a fast busy.

Might want to check what happens with you if you're running a wifi calling enabled build!

    Q10 SQN100-5 10.1.0.4543 on T-Mobile USA.

Can I enable wifi calling on 10.1.0.4537 for Verizon? If so, how?

No. It's a carrier-dependent feature and so far it's only available for T-Mobile USA. However, you can call phones using Skype and other apps.

I didn't think wifi calling was released yet for tmo. When/where did you get the update. My tmo rep said he didn't have a release date but expected it in august.

It got included in the. 4537 build but people claimed it to be real iffy then the. 4543 seemed to be more stable. You can also load the wifi calling app bar to toggle wifi calling on/off. You cant do it natively just yet. Im on the. 4543 build for z10 stl-3 and its legit. Not a single issue yet.

Good to know it's working for others, I'm wondering if it's due to the fact I have VVM enabled on my carrier voicemail as well as my calls forwarded to YouMail... I'm a special case scenario I guess, but it was a big enough deal for me that I thought others would appreciate a heads up on it... If I had seen a thread titled like this one I would have at least called and tested it.

I didn't downloaded the wifi ap bar and it seems wifi calling has completely disappeared from my BB. I am on .4543 and had it the first few days now can't seem to find it. Is there a setting i change without knowing? Can you tell me how to get it back and if possible post a link to where I can download the wifi bar for it?

    Thanks man

All you have to do is turn on the wifi and the icon in the upper right should light up (phone in a wifi signal icon). If you've installed the wifi calling .bar floating around here then just open that and re enable the toggle!

Yeah you're going to have to call tmobile to enter your 911 address. Otherwise wifi calling doesn't function correctly.

I updated the 911 Address directly online through my account, no need to spend an hour waiting to get a T-Mobile representative
