If Kris obtains a leak, he is free to share it if he so desires. Just like he did with 10.2.0.1791

I assume he has his same contacts. But he has taken a lot of grief around here so I would not blame him for not sharing.

How is the team disappointing anyone if they have NOTHING TO DROP!? We don't really need to see anything from that team, but they're at least nice enough to share, and more or less put it [OS] through its paces and potentially have solutions for problems that should arise...They also don't have to communicate what's going on within that 'organization' either. Remember the period in may when we had very little leaks in between 10.1MR and 10.2? There were weeks before 10.1.0.2342 was leaked after the previous leak!

10.2.1 is still in the "stuff's broken, guys, let's debug this and get a release candidate out" phase, like 10.2.0.pre 1047 (although that had some outstanding bugs in it as well). So even if there's something to drop from the current stretch of 10.2.1 versions, it'd be some hodgepodge of production and beta code that was never meant to see the light of day. Hence, the decision to forgo releasing 10.2.1.725 in favor of releasing only the salvageable parts (after weighing the requests of OS tinkerers against the tide of "does this have voice calls?"). If we get a 10.2.1 that we see as being stable enough to be release-worthy, then, rest assured, it'll show up.

10.2.0 is still trucking along, but I think 10.2.1 and the world release of 1791 has removed most of the fun from that.
