Am I correct that when you restored everything you lost VVM, but when you didn't restore anything VVM is not disappearing? If so that's encouraging.

I installed 1259 tonight and I find that on reboot my VVM disappears. But I am able to get it back by calling VM. BTW, this is the same issue I had with 10.2.0.1809. As long as I can get it back I'm fine with it.

Strange, mine is still holding so far - after many reboots. Did you restore after installing 1259?

Well, I'm back! VVM was up and running on my VZR stl-4 until last night. Hot alert I had a VVM, went to play it and got the error that I couldn't play. Reset phone expecting that to solve the issue. Following reset there were 2 messages concerning the VVM that I barley read cause assumed it was going to be working (I was out having an adult pop, and didn't take screen shot). Now VVM has disappeared from the Phone section and Hub.
    Thoughts? Help?

Didn't do any restore. I can live with it (for now), since I rarely reboot my phone. As long as it doesn't disappear completely like it did on 1055.

Can you get it back by calling into your voice mail? After you do that a screen should pop up asking you to enter your VVM pin number. Enter it and you should be good to go. Let us know.

I just tried that and it didn't work at all. The only thing it did was take me into my voice mail (without VVM).

Is there anything else that comes to mind to try?

I would think that after you called into VM and put your PIN number in and then disconnected, you should have seen a notification from VVM asking you to put your PIN in. Once you do that re-open the phone app and VVM should now be there.

Did you see that message after you logged off VM?

No, I'm afraid not. I did everything you just described and re-opened the phone app, but no VVM love
at all. I'm preparing to reload the OS to see if that helps, but using a slightly different approach this time. If it works, I'll post my steps, here.

Thanks for your reply! I appreciate it!

    UPDATE!!

I decided to try your advice one more time before performing a reload, but this time I listened to all of my new messages, administered them, and then noticed something new happen.

This time, as soon as I'd cleaned-up my existing (new) messages, I was presented with the two pop-up dialog boxes shown here:

    Visual voicemail bug - 1055-img_20131223_003609.png

    Visual voicemail bug - 1055-img_20131223_003617.png

Now, the first message about having insufficient network coverage just isn't true, as I'm right in the heart of the 4G network out here at my house (5 bars). As for the other dialog, that could be true, because Verizon does stupid sh*t to folks' accounts without notifying them all the time (i.e., changing features in data/rate plans if they go out-of-date, etc.).

I don't know if that happened in my case, but I'm going to call Verizon and find out what's going on w/whatever it is that's blocking my ability to use VVM mail on my device. It worked just fine with 10.2.0.1809, so if I'm able to figure out anything of use, I'll definitely follow-up here.

Glad to hear that the problem may not be with your phone but with Verizon. I'm definitely interested to hear how you make out when you call them.

Z10 STL100-4 with Verizon here and so far Visual Voice Mail is working perfectly with the .1259 leak. I have rebooted several times and so far so good. Really happy with this leak. Only time will tell if Visual Voice Mail stays, but I intentionally restarted several times just to make certain it was still there and it indeed is.

    ** UPDATE **

I talked to a Verizon representative yesterday, and he was able to fix my VVM blocking issue by updating something in the VZW switches and having me reboot afterward.

Turns out there was indeed some kind of software glitch (outside of my OS10 leak) that caused the problems. Things have been golden since then.
